Review of Catlin's Poem, Mia Forbes

I like how first jumping into this poem I can visualize exactly what you are doing. I really love the tone of this poem. It feels delicate, but powering. I get the sense that you’ve created this world and you’re taking power over it, so I liked that a lot. I also like the realization of this poem. I felt like it was a dream, only because in the last stanza you say “for when I wake my journey does end”, but then I thought that you were day dreaming because in dreams things are kind of set for you. We do not pick what we dream, it is something that we are placed in and just go with the flow.  However I like the reality of this because we all daydream about what we would like our life to consist of and how it should be, but it is not soon before something awakens us and snaps us back into our reality. I would have to say I think that there should be a little more description of this place you are describing. It would set even the title of this poem off.
