The poem is about a troubled relationship and how possibly how someone is running out on the other person. You can really see the person’s feelings through this poem. I love how your poem mimics a stop light! The first three lines definitely give you a concrete image. I really like how you use imagery through the whole poem to describe this relationship. You can almost imagine the impatience through the poem because of the descriptions of the traffic, the stoplight, and the descriptions of cars. “Stop, go, stop, go” makes me think of an on and off relationship. The repetition in the poem really gives you a concrete image. However, add a few more details about the relationship maybe, instead of just focusing on the traffic lights.
