Kenneth's Critique of Free by Mary

Free by Mary Bogdan Hauf is like the intro to The Commons by Joann Adamcyzk. I think that Free introduces the reader to a place on the set of a Tim Burton movie. It has suspense and setting that is not very urban and draws out the subject of the bird and its happenings. Its narration is goes to the very end with anticipation that cliff hangs with the bird singing and flying. I imagine the bird flying over to The Commons and the story continuing there. I would like to see the end revised to portray more personification of the bird’s actions. Perhaps it will give more purpose to the bird’s singing.
