Ben's analysis of Liquid Soul by Tracy

This lyrical poem expresses the joys and terrors of falling in love, of searching for your souldmate. She indicates that only those who have truely experienced it know the meaning and importance of love. Love is described as having both pleasure and pain a part of it, with the pain being beyond physical measure. Many people can relate to this feeling, those who ave felt love and lost it as well as those who have gained love and maintain it. This poem captures well the emotional rollercoaster of love and the searching for a soul mate. However the phrase, "The ambition to be the best person because not less is deserved" is confusing, are you saying that we strive to be the best person we can be of hopes of a greater chance of finding a lifelong partner?
