Jackies Review on Clares Short story
I really enjoyed reading clares short story fish and juleps. I felt that clare wrote the story that all of us as writers have been trying to write. A story where there is movement, but it is suddle. i really enjoyed the great detail Clare went into to describe the scene of the story and the manurisms of her characters. But i think most of all i really liked the idea of the story. The idea that the women of the story played out her emotions just like a typical girl. That she got herself so worked up over her cat and was so upset that her boyfriend did not notice that they may have a different cat. Its typical how girls usual act with there boyfriends and Clara did a great job of making this into a story. The only suggestions i have for Clare would to be not jump around on who her central character her, and make it much more clear on who it actually is.

Jackies Review on Aliza'a short story
I really liked Aliza's short story. The frustrations of what to do with the mouse crawling around your house is somethign everyone usually deals with once in there life, and is often a topic people have mixed feelings bout depending upon how people feel about rodants in their house. I really liked how Aliza made her central character relate to the mouse. Throughout the beginning of the story the central character avoids the mouse most of the day. The audience knows that somethign is coming, that the central character is going to take some sort of action. I really liked how Aliza showed the connection between the central character and the mouse. The only suggestions i have for Aliza is to shwo some more movement in her story. Make something else happen. Other than that overall i think Aliza did a good job with this story and i really enjoyed reading it.
